Program Partners

A special thanks to all our partners for the support and contributions they provide to the International ECHO Awards program.

If you would like more information on how you can sponsor the International ECHO Awards, please email us at ECHOAwards@ana.net.

Dating from the year 2000, the ECHOs in Latin America have a rich heritage celebrating Latin strategy, creativity and results. ECHO Latam is awarded separately, in non-pandemic years in a gala ceremony held in one of the vibrant capitals of Latin America. ECHO Latam is also closely linked to the International ECHO Awards. In fact, the Diamond ECHOs for 2020 and 2021 were ECHO Latam campaigns, reflecting the quality of the work coming from South of the Border!  We encourage entries of all campaigns run in Latin America, the Caribbean or in Spanish in the US and Canada.  Entries can be submitted in Spanish, Portuguese or English and are judged by a fully Latin American jury formed of marketing, creative and media experts from throughout the region.

With a pedigree stretching back to the early 1990s, the Direct Marketing Association of South Africa (DMASA) is the African continent’s most established non-profit organization dedicated to the sustainable development of the integrated and direct marketing (IDM) industry in a key sub-Saharan market.

The DMASA’s stated mandate is to help foster the growth of the IDM industry in Africa’s most industrialized economy which is also one of the few upper middle-income countries on the Continent.

For almost 30 years, the Assegai Direct and Integrated Marketing Awards have highlighted literally hundreds of best-in-class examples of Direct and Integrated Marketing from South African and Southern African marketers, advertisers, and others to encourage sector players to remain abreast of new trends.

There are 180 Bronze, Silver, and Leader awards to be won across dozens of categories spanning search, email, experiential, and mobile marketing, amongst many others. Local and overseas judges specifically look for the most effective use of content, database analytics, interface and navigation design, banners, microsites, and every other direct and integrated marketing tool. The name ‘assegai’ means the short, stabbing spear made famous during the wars of conquest by the legendary Shaka Zulu. Ultimately, the assegai helped unite the Zulu people into one nation and the DMASA takes inspiration from this.
