Dates: We will begin accepting entries into the 2023 International ECHO Awards Program in July 2022.  Please watch the webpage for more details. Here is a sample of LAST YEAR’S 2022 Entry Kit and Sample Entry Form. Please note, we may make changes to these elements for the 2023 Program.  


Early Bird Deadline: July 2022 (TBD) through Sept. 9th, 2022.

Standard Deadline: Sept. 10th, 2022, through Oct. 17th, 2022.

  • Ensure you have ANA login credential.  ANA login credentials are needed for login in on the ECHOAwards.org website. Click here for directions on how to create your account or retrieve your password.
  • You do not have to be members of the ANA to take part.  We welcome ANA members and nonmembers alike.


  • Review all 2023 categories by CLICKING HERE.
  • Remember you can submit your entry into more than one category.  


  • Entries must have run in market between September 1, 2021, and November 1, 2022.
  • All foreign language copy must be translated into English.

Video Requirements:

  • Format: Apple QuickTime (WMA/WMV files not accepted)
  • Codec: ProRes 422, H.264, MP4. M4V, or uncompressed MOV
  • Resolution: 1920x1080 or 1280x720 for 16:9; 1440x1080 or 960x720 for 4:3; At least 100MB per 60 seconds of video

Image Requirements: 

  • Format: JPG, 1920x1080 pixels, landscape
  • File Size: 10 MB or less

Tips from the International Jury: 

  • Avoid being disqualified. Omit agency name in your entry details and videos. Ensure entries are written in English and supply English subtitles for creative. 
  • Jurors score equally in three areas Strategy, Creative, and Results
  • This is not just another creative award, dive deep into data points that inspired, delivered, and proved excellence. You cannot win without strong data.  
  • Videos help bring your submission to life.  Include video when possible. 
  • When writing your entry, think like an expert and predict their questions.  The jury consists of seasoned executives from around the world who find the hidden gems that moved the needle for brands and brand partners.  Fluff won't cut it.   
  • Enter your case into more than one category.  This supplies a complete view of the entry and greater opportunities to win.  Ensure to change your entry to compliment the needs of each category.
